Bel Air Farmers Markets

Thomas and S. Bond streets
Area farmers and vendors offer the freshest produce, herbs, baked goods, honey, nursery stock and flowers. Held Tuesday and Saturday mornings, April – November. Twilight Farmers Markets are held the last Friday evening of each month at Rockfield Manor.

Center for Visual & Performing Arts

This non-profit organization presents musical performances, art exhibits, ballet and original theater productions in various Harford County venues throughout the year. Future construction will provide a permanent center for music, dance, theater, literary and visual arts pursuits.

The Historical Society of Harford County is an important resource center for historical and genealogical research, housing a library and archives of maps, plats, photographs and 1800s newspapers. It also hosts changing exhibits of local and regional historical interest.

Liriodendron Mansion

The historic 1898 summer home of Johns Hopkins Hospital founder Dr. Howard Kelly is open for tours and hosts art exhibits and musical performances. Its grandeur and idyllic setting make it a popular site for weddings and conferences.

Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Trail

This scenic hiker, biker and equestrian trail connects Heavenly Waters Park in Bel Air to Friends Park in Forest Hill. Its meandering course traces part of the former route of the Maryland and Pennsylvania (“Ma & Pa”) Railroad.

Rockfield Manor

501 Churchville Rd. • The manor house, garden and barn may be rented for meetings, weddings and more. The surrounding public park includes hiking trails, horticultural gardens, a playground and playing fields. Rockfield Manor hosts events throughout the year, including the Bel Air Twilight Farmers Markets in summer and the Bel Air Wine Festival in autumn.
