After nine dedicated years serving the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, five of which were as a board member and two in the role of President, Mrs. Donna M. Dickey has stepped down from her leadership role with the board. Dickey has played an essential part in many projects throughout her tenure, she has been an integral part of the Maryland State BBQ Bash, and most recently she was a vital part of Winter Wonderland, the transition of a new Executive Director and securing a $150,000 grant from the State of Maryland to establish a co-working and business accelerator space in downtown.
Dickey will take on an advisory role with the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, as well as continue her work with the Rockfield Foundation.
“It’s been a pleasure working with Donna as the board President” Pineda states. “Donna has proven her dedication to the Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s mission through her valuable input, resource generation, and volunteerism. We look forward to seeing Donna’s expertise exemplified as a member of ECDC.”
Beginning January 1, 2020, Kim Austing will be assuming the President role of the Alliance. Austing joined the Economic Vitality committee in 2016, and the Executive Board of Directors in 2018 as Treasurer. She also sits on the Board at the Bar Foundation of Harford County and the Harford Community College Advisory Council. Austing has 20 years of banking experience and is currently Vice President at M&T Bank in Bel Air. Kim has been with M&T for 9 years and manages the Bel Air Main location on Office Street.
