The Bel Air Downtown Alliance, a designated Maryland Main Street and an accredited member of the National Main Street Program, is proud of our community, town, and county officials who have come together to demand change. We too stand against racial injustice and inequality. We are proud of our Bel Air community, and those surrounding our neighborhoods, who have come to peacefully protest for social justice.
Our organization values diversity and inclusion, and while we embrace those values, as a community it will be our greater responsibility to change the future with the way we treat each other and embrace race and culture. As we come together, it is important to acknowledge the injustices presented, and find ways to impact and seek political change. We know that together we will stand strong, and together we will create change.
