Bel Air 150 Celebration
In 2024, Bel Air, MD celebrates its 150th year as an incorporated municipality in Maryland! To commemorate its sesquicentennial (the official term for a celebration of 150 years), a 150th Anniversary committee comprised of Town staff and citizens is planning commemorative events and more for all of 2024.
The banners from the Bel Air Downtown Alliance will be displayed year-round throughout Downtown Bel Air in 2024, with the following exceptions:

To help honor the 150th celebration of the Town of Bel Air, special banners from the Bel Air Downtown Alliance featuring the above logo will be hung from the light poles throughout Downtown Bel Air all year in 2024 (with the exception of the previously-listed dates). The Bel Air Downtown Alliance Banner Program is accepting applications from families and local businesses. Please note that political campaigns and applications from political parties are not permitted. Sponsors will have their name and/or business displayed on the banner. The cost of the banner sponsor is $250.00.
In January 2025, when the sesquicentennial is finished, all sponsors will be given the opportunity to retrieve their banners as a keepsake!Â
