The Bel Air Downtown Alliance is pleased to announce Patient First as the Title Sponsor for the 2016 Bel Air Christmas Parade. The Bel Air Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 4th 2016.

“The Bel Air Christmas Parade has been such a special event for many, many years. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something that brings so much joy to the Bel Air community and to the rest of Harford County,” said Dr. Paul Wu, Medical Director of Patient First on West MacPhail Road in Bel Air.

“We are very excited to have Patient First join us as our Title Sponsor this year and are honored that the Bel Air Christmas Parade was chosen to help us grow the community in Bel Air,” reported Christine McPherson, Executive Director of the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, the organization that facilitates the Bel Air Christmas Parade in partnership with the Town of Bel Air. “We hope to continue this partnership with Patient First and together we can contribute to the combined success of community development here in Harford County,” she added.

About the Bel Air Christmas Parade

The Downtown Bel Air Christmas Parade is a tradition that has been going on for nearly 30 years! This is a time where our community comes together to celebrate a special time of the year. This year marks the 27th annual Bel Air Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Celebration. The Parade will feature Stilt-walkers and acrobats; local high school marching bands; costumed characters and mascots; beauty queens; performance units, dancers, floats, musical groups and even some special equestrian guests, ending with The Living Christmas Tree and Santa and Mrs. Claus! The schedule for the Parade is as follows:

2:30 pm: Concert on Main Street in front of the Courthouse
3:30 pm: Parade (down Main Street to Lee Street to Shamrock Park)
4:00 pm: Community Bonfire & Singalong in Shamrock Park, with free cookies and hot chocolate
4:45 pm: Tree Lighting at Town Hall

The Bel Air Christmas Parade is free to the public and has regularly drawn nearly 3,000 attendees. The Parade has become a tradition in Downtown Bel Air and is always one of the most anticipated and exciting community events in Harford County.

This event is presented in partnership with the Town of Bel Air and Mike Blum, Chair of the Bel Air Christmas Parade Committee.
