Downtown Bel Air is Painting the Town Pink! In a partnership with The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation (UCHF), the Bel Air Downtown Alliance is supporting National Cancer Awareness Month and the Kaufman Cancer Center by Painting the Town Pink.
The Kaufman Cancer Center on the campus of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center is fully funded through charitable gifts which directly help nearly 1,500 cancer patients and their loved ones in our community cope with the physical, financial, psychological, and emotional aspects of cancer. The month of October is filled with decorated store fronts, point of sale items, fundraising events and promotions throughout the county and on the campuses of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. It is a time where the Bel Air community comes together for a cause that so many of us are affected by.
Paint the Town Pink First Friday
Join the community in raising awareness at Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s First Friday. The October First Friday will feature “pink cups” to support The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation’s Chesapeake Cancer Alliance. All tips collected at First Friday will go directly to the Kaufman Cancer Center.
