Valkyrie Service Day is a nationwide movement of community service. Scouting units and community organizations band together to do a good turn, in memory of Bel Air scout Mackenzie Opdyke.
Scouting America Troop 1920, in partnership with the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, is hosting a Bel Air Community Clean Up. Meet us at Shamrock Park by the bandshell where we will split into groups to clean up our beautiful town. We would love to be joined by other troops, packs, and community groups! The Registration tent opens at 9:30, and opening ceremonies will kick off at 10am. Closing ceremonies and winner announcements will begin at noon.

If you aren’t local to Bel Air, please join us by doing your own community service on the 8th. It doesn’t have to be trash pick up- find a need in your area and give the gift of service.
