Paint the Town Pink

In a partnership with University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, the Bel Air Downtown Alliance is supporting close-to-home cancer care right in our community. The UM Patricia D. and M. Scot Kaufman Cancer Center on the campus of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Bel Air is fully funded through charitable gifts, which directly helps patients and their loved ones in our community cope with the physical, financial, psychological, and emotional aspects of cancer. Celebrating 20 years, Cancer LifeNet has been a vital resource to more than 25,000 individuals in our community. The month of October is filled with decorated store fronts, point of sale items, fundraising events, and promotions throughout the county and on the campuses of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. It is a time where the Bel Air community comes together for a cause by which so many of us are affected.
